Crawlspace Moisture and High Radon Concerns Solved Together in Spirit Lake, IA
Challenge
Mark and Alice bought their house a few years ago, and when they bought they knew it had a moisture issue in the crawlspace. The previous owners didn't run a dehumidifier down there. They also suspected that during the building process the joists may have been left outside over the winter after the foundation was dug. They're concerned about eventual resale of the house and making sure the crawlspace is dealt with properly. They also tested for radon with levels between 8-9 pCi/L and wanted to install a radon mitigation system.
Solution
Our System Design Specialist worked with Alice and Mark both to create the best solution possible for their home. The team of technicians encapsulated the crawlspace with a smart drain and Sedona Sanidry dehumidifier. Afterwar, they installed a one extraction point radon mitigation system with interior aesthetic package. The job went well, and they were very happy afterword!
