Omaha, NE - Central Iowan homeowners are exposed to some of the most toxic levels of radon in our country. Thankfully, National Radon Defense Midwest has newly expanded their radon mitigation services to help Iowans protect their homes and loved ones from this deadly gas. The professionals of National Radon Defense Midwest have expert-level training and are ready to eliminate the dangerous radon problem- a problem which kills more than 20,000 people in the U.S.A. every year.
This study by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) explains how people living in central Iowa are at a higher risk of exposure. Radon is an invisible, odorless gas created by the natural radioactive breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water. The danger occurs when high levels of radon become concentrated in a structure. Over time while radon is inhaled, radioactive particles become trapped in our lungs and decay, damaging our lung cells. Because of this, radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers.
Curt Drew and Anthony Maeser are keen to the dangers of radon and created National Radon Defense Midwest to help protect Midwest homes. They decided to expand National Radon Defense Midwest’s service territory to make sure Central Iowans are protected as well. “Keeping families safe in their own homes isn’t just a business for us, it’s our passion,” they explained. “We are grateful to be able to give more homeowners peace of mind and clean air to breathe.”
National Radon Defense Midwest offers a full range of radon services, from testing to see if a home has a high concentration of radon, to mitigating the radon with an aesthetically pleasing mitigation package. They are the flagship dealer for National Radon Defense and receive high-level training and support from the nation’s leading network of radon service providers.
