Radon Mitigation in George, Iowa
Solomon and his wife are a young couple that bought the house this past year. It was an old house with brick foundation and radon levels of 8.5. The installation will start with a sub slab extraction point next to plumbing stack on back wall, route out side of house and core through wall, route up. They wanted everything to be prepared before they move on to their next chapter in life.

This client started working from home and wanted to remodel his basement into his personal office and soon to be 'man cave'. While he is starting, he wanted to make sure he is protected since he spends most of his time there. He booked with Radon Defense Midwest for a radon mitigation installation and he was very happy with his decision!
Radon Mitigation - Le Mars, IA
The basement of this customer was a bit of a challenge to penetrate for an installation but our duo team; Andrew and Jason didn't see that as a major challenge. This one was a successful install!

This client was a very loving mom. She called in explaining she wanted to have radon mitigation installed because she was worried for her son's health since he sleeps in the basemenet. She wanted to lower their levels for his safety as her priority.

This is an interesting project as the layout of the home was a reno (renovation). There is a thin utility strip across the center of the basement. Half is finished and the rest is crawlspace. If you go on the left side of the utility strip, the sump pit needs to be crawled to in order to seal it up. Not a super comfortable thing to have to do but is about 8-10 feet crawl. From the outside of the home, the exit hole will need to be on the shorted park of the home toward the porch. Mainly wanted protection from exposure because they're getting a radon mitigation system. Inside this relates to needing to exit somewhere in the crawl space, some concerns still needed a fix. We offered the homeowner a crawlspace encapsulation and will have this considered in the future!
