This client was having second thoughts when he first reached out to Radon Defense Midwest about getting his own radon mitigation system. He was overly thinking of the budget and spent. We offered him our financing option which he was happy about as it didn't seem to be a big of an obligation money-wise. The installation turned out great!

This was a challenging client as we had numerous revisions on the installation draft until we had gone to the final piece. The client was really concerned about his home and security at the same time. Hesitant to let a worker in at first and gave in eventually. He decided to have the radon mitigation system installed in a confined space at the back of his home near the swimming pool. We educated him in everything that he needs to know from the coring through the piping on how it will flow through -- very technical person. He helped in moving some furniture in the process and wanted to make sure each piece is in place after. Everything was fine, he just really needed assurance from time to time. 

This was simple installation with a 2 point system and slab on grade. The first point was at the back basement wall past the HVAC system then the second point will have to run behind the HVAC wall to get over to the slab past the chimney vent. Everything went well with the installation. 

Radon testing was the first thing the homeowner has done and he was not happy with the results. It was really high. They planned ahead and called Radon Defense Midwest for a free estimate. The installation was planned as point in sump and second point by stack between water softener and laundry. The team spray foamed the exposed dirt under shower, it is accessible from utility room by sump. A fan cover was included. It was a two-story home and on a slope the team recommended setting up ladder on side of house. Everything went as planned.
