Since radon gas comes up into our homes through the soil, crawlspaces with exposed dirt need to be sealed off. This one in Auburn was a wrap with our 20 mil poly cleanspace to prevent radon from coming up into the home. 

Radon Concerns After Diagnosis

After a family member was diagnosed with lung cancer, the client became more aware of environmental factors that could contribute to health risks. A friend mentioned radon, so they conducted a test in their home. The results showed elevated radon levels, which left them alarmed. Wasting no time, they arranged for a radon mitigation system to be installed. Post-installation tests showed significantly lower radon levels, providing the family with comfort that they had taken an important step to reduce future risks.

This homeowner requested to have an exterior radon mitigation system that would fit the aesthetic of their home. The home had a complicated structure since the rooms were all upstairs -- which is the parts they wanted to protect the most so we had drafted an installation with a sump pit along with an extraction point coming out the back of the home. The homeowner was ecstatic on with the result.
