Radon Mitigation System Before & After Photos

These clients understood the long-term risks of radon exposure since some of their family members work in the construction and environmental industry. They prioritized the safety of their children and invested in a state-of-the-art mitigation system. Now, they can enjoy their home knowing that future generations will grow up in a radon-free environment.

This client's old system is need of replacement since it doesn't do much of reducing the radon levels anymore. The old system has been with her for many, many years. It also had a gurgling sound due to the ground water. The team will be abandoning this system by cutting and capping the pipe found in the attic. All existing piping will remain in place. The system from Radon Defense Midwest will be installed directly into the water guard next to the sump which is located inside a closet. It was an easy install as the framework of the old system helped the placement. Everything went smoothly and customer is pleased!

This installation was close to an up and out from sump pit that has both interior and exterior tile. It was a pretty tall home 2-story home so the team ran the pipe closer to the back of the house. The client is a retired army and wants to settle in the home protected from radon exposure with his loving wife. 

This project was pretty simple as client wanted to add another system regardless if they already have one from another company. They really wanted to reduce their levels as low as they can. The basement was wide open as a start and the extraction point will on the center of the south wall in front of the home. Everything went smoothly.
