Radon Mitigation in Bellevue, Nebraska
Homeowners saw our news story and tested for radon again and it's gone up from previous tests. Levels of 6 and his in-laws live in the basement. From exterior it appears like a typical tri level home, but it's a two level basement with the area under the family room dug out. Technical job to design with a deck, patio, and a lot of stuff on the back of the house. Not much a difficulty as the owner is very much flexible with process and installation guides.

This home had an alarming radon level of 40-70 pCi/L in the basement. The customer was very concerned and to help in every step of the way. He insisted to create a larger opening for us to encapsulate the crawlspace. It was plenty deep. We had made a total of 5 extraction points with 2 fans installed. The homeowner wanted to make sure every part of the installation was smooth and was really happy that the team cleaned up after the work is done.

This installation was for a nice couple who recently purchased this home and developed allergies in the long run. They had their home tested for radon and turned out 9.5 pCi/L which is really high. So they were concerned about the health effects and maybe the allergies were the starting symptoms -- that lead them contacting us to have an estimate. We proposed a system to be installed in their spiral staircase going down to the basement. Installation went well and for the whole experience, they were a jolly couple who was satisfied with our work from start to finish!

This client had a radon test and returned high levels. So he made sure this should be mitigation and got a radon system installed. He did mention to consistently test and see the difference. Everything went well!

Customer called in and said their radon levels tested at 13.0 and not 34.0 like they thought. What the team did is to remove 1 of the pts from the job. The homeowner was really nice and liked to talk a lot. He used to be an electrician and now works at Mutual of Omaha along with his wife. They also own a couple of businesses. The team has already serviced this home about a year and a half ago. They were happy about the lowering of their levels.
