An elderly couple, both around 80 years old, Dan and Marion have a modular house on a block foundation basement. Formerly an avid hunter, Dan runs a dehumidifier's condensation line into a hole in the ground, pumping water outside. With radon levels at 4.5 and Dan's history of smoking, an extraction point is planned near this area, with plexiglass covering. Despite the challenge of fitting a BEZ due to existing shackle types, we discussed potential furnace replacement and the addition of a BEZ in the basement. The couple agreed and were really excited about this decision.
